Chromate Conversion on Aluminum

Chromate conversion on aluminum is used for corrosion protection while adding only minimal thickness and minimal electrical resistance. It can also be used as an under layer for paint. We offer clear and yellow hexavalent chromates and a clear trivalent chromate. Chromate conversion on aluminum is also referred to as alodine or irridite.
